Hidayet Calayır

Hidayet Calayır obtained his degree in Public Administration from Marmara University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in 1995. He attended the trainings of NATO and worked in Purchasing, Sales Development and Marketing Departments of Carrefour SA for 12 years, where he began his career in 1996. In 2008, he became Marketing and Merchandising Manager of DARTY and worked in Turkey and Belgium. In 2011, he returned to Carrefour SA as Electronics Purchasing Manager and joined Mediamarkt as Purchasing and Trade Marketing Director at the end of 2013. He is currently the Electronics Group Director of Hepsiburada.com as of January, 2015. Besides, he has been teaching Purchasing and Trade Marketing courses at Bahçeşehir University in the "360° Retail Management" program since 2014. He has more than 18 years of experience in Retail, Purchasing, Sales Development, Merchandising, Store Planning and launch projects. He speaks English and French. He is married with two sons.
