Sertaç Ersayın

METU’s Faculty of Architecture, Department of Industrial Design graduate Sertaç Ersayın has taken on the tasks of being the Vice President (Design and Innovation) and the Coordinator of Strategical Design of Kale Group for four and a half years.  Beginning his career as a Design Expert in Technology Development and Engineering Departments of Koç Group, Ersayın directed DeiChung JV, a design and  production company in Southern China, and the international marketing company in Hong Kong for 3 years. He founded and directed for 8 years the Design Group in Demirdöküm, another Koç Group affiliate.  Ersayın is a jury member of IF Design Award / Hannover and Design Management Europe, two of the most prestigious design competitions worldwide, and has sat on the jury panels of more than 150 design competitions open to both professionals and students in various categories, such contests including Design Turkey, IMMİB, Furniture Design Cometition, Designer of the Year IDW (Istanbul Design Week), Design Spirit, W Hotel Design Competition, MarketingIST, Philips TV Competition, Ceramic Design Competition, Package Design, POPAI OMA (Design on Sales Point). Currently, alongside the Chairmanship of ETMK, he is responsible for the Reform-ist Strategical Design and Innovation Management Company.
