Cemil Çakar

Cemil Çakar, born in Boyabat – Sinop in 1965, graduated from Istanbul University School of Economics in 1986. He is fluent in English and adequate for verbal communication in German, Italian and Russian. Since 1998, he is engaged in import and international trade of Chemical Raw Materials and Plastics, and an expert in International Business Development and Collaborative Ventures. Çakar takes an active part in Karex Polimer ve Petrokimya Dış Tic.Ltd.Şti, where he is the Chairman of the Board and Karex Enerji A.Ş. Additionally, he is the Trade Advisor of Thailand Government, Deputy Chairman of DEİK Turkey-Thailand Business Council, Executive Committee Member of DEİK Turkey-Korea and member of Switzerland Chamber of Commerce in Turkey. For the sake of these duties he took part in organizing lots of official delegations, international business meetings and visiting businessmen delegations. Cemil Çakar is married with three children.
