Cengiz Tevek

Born in 1952 in Istanbul, Tevek received his Master's degree in Germany. During his 30 years at Mercedes-Benz Türk, he worked as a Group Lead in Planning and Production until 1997, went on to work with Japanese and American experts on Lean Production and Kaizen between 1997 and 2010, and retired from Mercedes-Benz in 2010 as a Lean Production and Kaizen Office Section Manager. He has been working as an independent consultant since 2010. He has led more than 700 Kaizen Workshops to date and trained over 5000 individuals. His areas of interest include cost reduction, efficiency and quality improvement and shorter transition times in the automotive, public transport and heavy commercial vehicle production, HVAC system and products, solar energy systems production, metal household appliances production, lean catering, and plastic household and kitchen appliances industries through the implementation of lean production and management with the Kaizen Method.
