İstanbul Concept Gallery, Design Manager
Gençoğlu has a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the Karadeniz Technical University, followed by an MBA from Istanbul Bilgi University. To complete her MBA dissertation, titled "The Strategic Importance of Design Management in Marketing", she also completed the Bilgi University - Domus Academy joint initiative Design Culture Management Program. She started designing exhibitions in 2004 and worked as a design management and marketing consultant to her sales and internet marketing professors in the MBA program. She founded the Istanbul Concept brand in 2007 and became one of the 50 companies recommended to the EU for art and design in 2012. Gençoğlu represents artists and designers with a proven national and international track record and enjoys doing work or building projects for NGOs, making collages, discovering new tastes, creating archives, and developing brands. Işık Gençoğlu is the founding director of Istanbul Concept Gallery and the creator of the 360-Degree Love Festival.
