Murat Kolbaşı

Murat Kolbaşı was born in 1966 in İstanbul. After graduating from Marmara University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, he began his career as Sales and Business Development Manager in Arzum Home Appliances in 1988. Kolbaşı has been General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Arzum since 2008, and continues to serve as Chairman of the Board since September 2015.  Murat Kolbaşı, the Coordinating Chairman of Asia Pacific Business Councils and the Chairman of Turkey-China Business Council of DEİK takes an active part in Turkey-Hong Kong and Turkey-Australia Councils of DEİK whilst being a member of İTO Council, TÜSİAD, MÜSİAD, Turkish Coffee Culture and Research Association Board of Directors, TOBB Young Entrepreneurs Supreme Board, Endeavor High-Impact Entrepreneurship Support Association Advisory Board, Zücder (Glassmen Association) Board, FODER (Financial Literacy Association) Board and a founder member of TAİDER (Turkish Family Businesses) Board. Able to speak English, Murat Kolbaşı is married with two children.
