Yusuf Yusufoğlu

Dr. Yusuf YUSUFOĞLU obtained a double major with high honors in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry Instruction from Middle East Technical University in June 2005. He completed a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering at Iowa State University in 2009. He worked as a "postdoctoral research fellow" at Argonne National Laboratory in Chicago, one of the largest national laboratories in the United States. Dr. Yusufoğlu has extensive research experience in polymers and polymeric composites, chemical synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials, heat insulation materials, inorganic materials, humidity- and odor-adsorbing materials, and inorganic-polymer nanocomposites. He has been an R&D Team Leader (Polymers and Chemicals) in the Materials Technologies division of Arçelik Central R&D since 2011. Dr.  Yusufoğlu has 15 patents, one book chapter, 8 research papers, and his work has received over 100 citations. Dr. Yusufoğlu has implemented and/or taken part in 4 European Union (Horizon 2020 and FP7) Projects, 4 Tübitak Projects and 1 Santez Project.
