Karl Foerster

Karl-H. Foerster was appointed Executive Director of PlasticsEurope in October 2013. Mr. Foerster was former CEO of Neochimiki Group, Athens, Greece. Born 1959 in Kassel/Germany he graduated from the universities of Wuerzburg/Germany (Economics) and Rhode Island/USA with a MBA. For more than 30 years, Karl-H. Foerster has been working in the chemical and plastics industry. Before joining Neochimiki, Foerster served as Vice President at PolymerLatex. During his 20 years at BASF SE he held various executive management positions, focusing on the company’s global expansion and the restructuring of its European polymer business. He has been working in 10 countries in Europe, Asia, and North America.
