Hermann Diem

Hermann Diem, born 1968 studied plastic engineering in Munich, Bavaria, Germany and has an additional degree in business economics. Hermann started in 1986 at Hörauf & Kohler GmbH, Augsburg focused on plastic system parts for the automotive industry and medical engineering. His professional career began at BMW Group, FIZ in Munich with spotlight on injection molded parts, where he has created his first patent in gas-injection-molding. Since 1998 he is active in the BU Additives as Global Technical Manager in plastics at Clariant. In the beginning he worked in the Marketing Department for Polymer Additives and in the department of New Business Development. His position as Global Technical Manager includes the development of innovative solutions for masterbatch and compound industry as well as technical service activities.
