Gözde MORKOÇ-NİKELAY

Sustainability and External Relations Manager at PEPSICO

In her role as PepsiCo Turkey Sustainability and External Relations Manager, Gözde Morkoç-Nikelay has been responsible for the company's sustainability projects and communication since 2016. Morkoç-Nikelay is also the leader of corporate social responsibility projects and the volunteer platform, working on stakeholder management, project design and project implementation in the company's priority areas of waste management, reducing water footprint, and empowering women.

Prior to her current role, she was a specialist responsible for industry policies and the energy, chemicals and transportation sectors in the TÜSİAD Industry Transformation and Sector Policies between 2012 and 2016. From 2008 to 2009, she was a research assistant in the Offsets & Research Department of Chicago Climate Exchange, the world's first volunteer carbon emissions exchange.
 
Morkoç-Nikelay has a degree in economics from Northwestern University and a graduate degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies on Energy, Resources & Environment.
