Michel Decodts

After graduated as chemical engineer at the Institut De Chimie of Besancon (France), Michel Decodts joined DuPont France in 1977 as sales and technical engineer for the Engineering Polymers business unit. In 1985 he took the responsibility of Market Development Consultant for DuPont engineering polymers in the European Automotive market. In 1991 he joined the business unit Packaging & Industrial Polymers as Market Development Program Manager. He led several projects in various market segments such as packaging films, powder coating, films for car interiors, cosmetic, and construction such as roofing membranes and flooring.  In 2011 he joined the Marketing Strategic Group as Innovation Market Champion in the Tailored Materials business, leading mid and long term development programs such as polymer modification  for Ski boots, new surface protection and decoration films for construction, furniture and appliances and compatibilizers for plastics recycling.
