Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Yıldırım

 He was born in Manastır in 1953. He graduated from DavutpaşaHigh School in 1978 and from Istanbul University Faculty of Chemical Engineering with Master’s Degree in 1978. In 1978, he started to work as assistant in Sakarya State Engineering and ArchitectureAcademy. In 1984, he received the title of doctor by completing his doctorate studies in Department of Chemistry in IstanbulTechnicalUniversity. He became assistant professor in Yıldız University Department of Chemistry in 1985 and became an associate professor in 1990. He was assigned to the staff of associate professors in Yıldız Technical University Department of Chemistry in 1991. He became a professor in 1998. He is a founding member of TurkishAcademy of Sciences (TÜBA) and member of Scientific Advisory Board of Tübitak and Turkish Chemical Society. He has a great number of articles and announcements presented in national and international journals and symposiums. In 2012, he was appointed to Council of Higher Education Membership. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Yıldırım is married with three children.
