Dr. Altan Yıldırım

Altan Yıldırım was graduated from METU Metallurgy and Material Engineering Department in 2000. After completing his master’s studies on development of electronic ceramic films at the same department, he began working for Hamburg Technical University to conduct his PhD studies. He conducted researches on such electronic applications as power transmitting plastics, OLED screens, transparent solar cells during his PhD studies. He gained experience in university-industry collaborations and strategic collaborations in the meantime. Made 14 scientific publications during his academic life, Altan Yıldırım embarked on his professional business life in 2008. He worked for research and development departments of the firms in the field of electronics in Germany and medical sector in Austria. Altan Yıldırım works as R&D Coordinator fort he firm Farplas since 2012.
