Mr. Henning Stieglitz

Battenfeld – Cincinnati / Managing Director Division Packaging

Dr. Stieglitz studied mechanical engineering at the University of Paderborn, with a specialization in plastics technology. After receiving his diploma in 1996, he worked for four years as research assistant. Dr. Stieglitz’s professional career in the industry began in October 2000, at the machine manufacturer Krauss Maffei in Munich. From October 2004, Dr. Stieglitz was the technical director of the extrusion department in Munich. His responsibilities included the mechanical and electrical design as well as processing development. In 2008, Dr. Stieglitz joined Battenfeld Extrusionstechnik in Bad Oeynhausen. He was responsible for the technical department including R&D and the product group sheet /pelletizing/compounding. Since April 2010, Dr. Stieglitz has been Managing Director of the Packaging Division and Chief Technical Officer of the battenfeld-cincinnati group of companies with five production facilities on three continents. He is member of the battenfeld-cincinnati group’s management team.
