Ahmet Bayraktaroğlu

Born in Kayseri as the child of a family making automotive spare parts trade in 1955. He completed his higher education in USA in the field of Industrial Engineering Technology, returned to Turkey in 1979 and worked for the family business at different positions. He assumed important roles in foundation and development Farba, Turkey’s first headlamp and stop lamp manufacturer, as well as its expanding to the global market. After assuming duties at TAYSAD board of Directors for the purpose of developing automotive sector and rendering it able to create solutions and become more effective in the global markets, he worked as the Chairman of Board of Directors between 1997 and 2002. As the founder of TAYSAD TOSB Organized Industrial Zone, he worked as the Deputy Chairman and Chairman of board of directors for years. After being Assembly member of ISO and TOBB Industry Council member for the last three terms, he is KSO Kocaeli Chamber of Industry assembly member and TOBB Industry Council member. In addition to these duties, he is the member of MESS Educational Foundation, ISOV Foundation Board of Trustees member and TOGEV TOSB Development Foundation Board of Trustees member. His other positions in the civil society are: MESS board of discipline member, TAYSAD Vehicles Side Industrialists Association High Advisory board member and Bayraktarlar Holding A.Ş. Board of Directors Deputy Chairman, Farba Otomotiv Aydınlatma ve Plastik Fabrikaları A.Ş. Board of Directors Chairman. And he also assumes active duties in the management of the family’s other group of companies.
