Senior Packaging Technologies Specialst, Novartis

She was born in Tekirdağ in 1982. After elementary and secondary education in Tekirdağ, she completed Chemical Engineering in Yıldız Technical University as the top student in 2004. Her thesis was on “Polymer Impregnation in Supercritical CO2 Presence and Controlled Drug Release Systems”. Between 2004-2007, she took master’s degree from Boğaziçi University Department of Chemical Engineering, completing her study on “Generating H2 through Ethanol-Steam Using Pt-Snx Catalyst” with focus on reaction kinetics. Following master’s degree, she began working as an R&D Engineer for packaging materials at R&D Department of Amcor Flexibles-Istanbul between 2008-2013. During this period, she took part in many regional and global projects. She joined Novartis as a Packaging Technologies Specialist in 2013 to make use of her fund of knowledge on packaging materials, various conversion technique and packaging machines at a different industry, and has been working there at Manufacturing Science and Technologies Department as a Senior Packaging Technologies Specialst.
