Dr. Orhan Irmak

Born in Ankara in 1978, Dr. Orhan Irmak was graduated from Middle East Technical University, Department of Industrial Design in 2000 as the top student of his year.  During his education, he has been to Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia for a semester as an exchange student. In 2003, he gained his MFA degree from Bilkent University with his thesis on future studies and design. Later, he gained his PhD degree from Istanbul Technical University in 2011 with his thesis on development patterns of packaging design in Turkey. Since established in 2004 by himself and his partner Gökhan Irmak, Dr. Orhan Irmak is the Chief Creative Director of Orhan Irmak Tasarım design agency in Istanbul.The design agency is serving many global brands from Turkey and abroad in branding and creative packaging design.Orhan Irmak Tasarim has grantedmore than 50 awards in national and international design competitions on packaging design including Red dot, Pentawards, WorldStar and Design Turkey.Orhan Irmak Tasarım is a member of GLBA - Global Local Branding Alliance. www.orhanirmak.com / www.facebook.com/orhanirmaktasarim / www.twitter.com/oit_live
