M. Zeki Sarıbekir

Zeki Sarıbekir studied at Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Anadolu University and received a one-year education in England. After working at two different packaging companies abroad, he started working in the family company Sarten Ambalaj AŞ in 1996. Thanks to his longsighted and entrepreneurial nature, he made Sarten one of the leading packaging companies in Turkey. He has been the CEO of the Company since 2004, and the Chair of the Board since 2009. Sarıbekir is Member of Istanbul Chamber of Industry (İSO), Aerosol Manufacturers’ Association (ASAD), Environmental Protection and Packaging Waste Recycling (ÇEVKO) Foundation, Rigid Plastic Packaging Manufacturers Association (SEPA), Turkish Plastics Industrialists’ Association (PAGDER), Turkish Plastics Foundation (PAGEV), and Member of Boards of Istanbul Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters’ Association (İDDMİB). He is the Chair of Packaging Manufacturers Association (ASD) and Vice President of Union of Chambers and Exchange Commodities of Turkey. Sarıbekir is also Member of the Board of European Metal Packaging Union located in Brussel.
