Mesut Erkul
Member of the Board, Erkul Kozmetik
Born in Gaziantep in 1969, Mesut ERKUL completed elementary and secondary education in Istanbul, then studied in Anadolu University Faculty of Management. Besides, he received private pilot trainings (Civil Aviation PPL) and amateur naval education, and was awarded certificates.
Married with two kids, Mesut ERKUL started his carrier at their family company Erkul KOZMETİK SAN ve TİC AŞ founded in 1983. Erkul KOZMETİK manufactures in their 70,000 m2 integrated production facility located in Istanbul, with ISO 22716:2007 Cosmetic-GMP, ISO 9001:2008 and BRC_IOP Quality Management Certificates, following hygiene rules, using state-of-art manufacturing approaches and technologies, exporting their products to over 90 countries. He established a plastic injection division within the Company, followed by plastic molding, plastic assembly, brush production and assembly for nail varnish and mascara, and metallization divisions.
Meanwhile, he focused on technology and R&D investments to eliminate deadline and quality problems that occur with certain packaging materials outsourced by the Company, and produce them right at the Company premises. He personally supervised design, production and commissioning stages to bring still-running mascara fill-and-seal machines, nail varnish fill-and-seal machines, perfume fill lines, labeling machines, assembly machines and exclusive automation systems to the Company.
He holds utility model certificate granted by Turkish Patent Institute for his invention “AN APPLIANCE WITH INFLATOR MOLD AND PROPELLANT ASSEMBLY COUPLED ON INJECTION MACHINES”.
Thanks to his breakthroughs, Erkul KOZMETİK was awarded several certificates of achievement and excellence.
